Dry ski slope. Made of Dendix, our slope has a realistic surface and a varied aspect. Experienced skiers can improve their skills, and beginners can get to grips with the basics on the separate nursery area. ‎

First steps to becoming an instructor If you are interested in gaining snowsports instructor qualifications, or in finding out more about the pathway to gaining qualification - read on! The club is also very keen to broaden its base of instructors over the next 6-12 months: maintaining and growing the instructor/coach pool is essential to the future of the club. We have therefore arranged for Richard Barker of Snowsports England to visit our slope on 16th July at 6.30pm to have an initial open training session on the slope with anyone who is interested, discuss individual requirements and provide us with advice on training towards the Level 1 instructor qualification. The club's aim is to proceed with training after that date, with a view to a Level 1 assessment taking place over two days on 27th September and 18th October at the Exeter ski slope. The club is also considering offering an option to trainees to part-fund their costs of gaining qualifications, in return for a commitment on the part of the trainee to teach a minimum number of hours at the slope this winter 2014/15. If you are interested in coming along and finding out more, or know someone who might be interested, please could you please contact the club by e-mail:

Scheduled sessions run from 1st October through to Easter (closed Good Friday to 30th September)
